Developer Support
Thank you for your interest in carddweeb. Being a fully open-source project, I offer some limited support as I have availabiliy, but all my code and card data is available for free.
Any inquiries that take multiple hours, require immediate attention, or have large impacts on carddweeb may require a full-support contract (subject to charges determined via contract agreement.)
What do I provide now?
- ER Diagrams for the Card database
- Downloads of all the card images I own available on github
- The actual card database (currently email/discord requests only)
What will I eventually provide? (backlogged)
- Developer REST JSON API
- C# database library
- Python database library
What do I ask developers in exchange for the free limited support?
- Please do NOT scrape carddweeb.com. The web server is not the most performant as this is a hobby project and I cannot invest in larger infrastructure.
- Understanding that this is a hobby project and might take me time to respond. I love helping people with CardWars, but I have a life outside this hobby.
Resources:
Card Images
Available at github. Please read the following details on what images are stored where.
- /custom contains all the custom cards provided to me via the Cardwars discord. They are not real cards
- /old contains all the legacy images from the original release of CardWars. These cards may have been updated in the Kickstarter release.
- /regular contains all the full size card scans used on carddweeb. This is what most people are looking for.
- /upload contains all the recently uploaded cards from carddweeb. They will eventually be merged into /regular but will have the most recent releases
- /generated/small contains all the auto-generated thumbnails used on the main card database page. They are compressed to save bandwidth.
